The ConvosLab at the University of La Verne focuses on understanding why! We're interested in a number of different characteristics of conversations.

Current and past work includes examining how contribution behaviors influence perception of conversational experiences across modalities, how certain conversational factors influence how conversations are evaluated and remembered, as well as how we use specific words to navigate our conversational experiences.

Andrew is the PI of ConvosLab. Beyond psychology, Andrew loves spending time with his fiancé Camille, dog Duke, and cat Lucky. He's a big sports fan and collects way too many comic books.

Ahsha loves to learn about the many factors involved in interpersonal relationships and epigenetics. Outside of psychology, Ahsha likes watching video essays that talk about sociological concepts and rating movies.

Victor loves to learn about the intersection between behavioral neuroscience and psychology. Outside of psychology, Victor enjoys hiking and exploring new music.

Hea loves learning everything about, and the complexity of, behavioral neuroscience. Outside of her studies, Hea spends her time reading and finding new art-related projects to perfect.

Janine Sevillana

Janine is interested in using clinical and social psychology to better understand human behavior and experience. Outside of psychology, Janine loves to create and study art, play the piano, and read.
